• Y = Yellow (yellow)
• M = Magenta
• C = Cyan

→ These three are used together to create colors via subtractive color mixing.

• K = Black (black color panel – typically used for text or barcodes)
• O = Overlay (a transparent protective film)
• K = An additional black panel again, on the back of the card (for e.g. black text or barcode)

This type of film is typically used where you want full color on one side of the ID card and black text on the other side, ("if you find this ID card please hand it in"…)
