Security systems with access control in the public sector are characterized by covering many different types of institutions and organizations with dynamic needs.
A typical challenge can be a school that serves one purpose during daytime hours but, after classes end, is used for other activities and rented out to associations.
Public authorities also have extensive requirements for digitalization and a need for integrations with third-party systems such as HR databases and Active Directory.

With NOX, the system is adapted to the organization — not the other way around. Every part of the NOX system can be flexibly programmed to do exactly what users want, making it ideal for the public sector with varied and dynamic needs.
The openness of the NOX system is also a prerequisite for integration with third-party systems such as booking systems, Active Directory, and building automation systems — for example, control of energy, lighting, heating, and ventilation.
The system can be programmed so that when a room is rented out, its functionality is fully adapted according to the administrator’s preferences — for instance, allowing an association to gain access via a QR code and automatically adjusting the lighting to suit the environment.
